Registration is now open for the European Space Agency (ESA) introductory training course on the use of Big Data in Earth Observation, taking place from September 22 to 26 in Riga, at the University of Latvia Academic Centre.
While the course is primarily aimed at researchers from the Baltic states, industry professionals — including startups — are also encouraged to apply, especially those looking to strengthen their capabilities in utilizing and commercializing EO data.
Applications are open untill 15th of july.
Participants can register for the full course or choose to attend individual lectures or hands-on sessions. Detailed information on the program, registration, and available scholarships for PhD students can be found on the Latvia Space portal: ESA EO Training Course – LATVIAN TECHNOLOGY IN SPACE
This course will be a great addition to the “Big Data from Space” conference, which will take place the week after the training — from September 29 to October 3.
We remind you that registration for the conference is already open. During the first two days of the conference, several training sessions will also take place. We encourage you to register for them now, especially if you are unable to attend the ESA course.
More information can be found on the Big Data from Space website.
