ESA in cooperation with the Institute for Environmental Solutions organized the Training Course on Radar and Optical Remote Sensing that was addressed to participants from universities, scientific communities, institutions and organisations that use geoinformation. The course provided participants with an introduction to radar and optical remote sensing technology as well as examples of end –user applications of this technique within the environmental field.
The course was aimed to researchers, MSc and PhD students and professionals from Latvia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia (PECS – Plan for European Cooperating States) that use EO technology within their daily work and wanted to improve their knowledge of radar and optical remote sensing.
The ESA Training Course on Radar and Optical Remote Sensing took place in Cēsis, from 5 to 9 September
