IES will share science communication practice with universities in Germany, France and Poland

The team  members of  the Institute for Environmental Solutions (IES) together with the representatives of the Technical University of Berlin (Germany), University of Lille (France) and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland) have started the learning and training programme to improve science communication practice.

The learning programme consists of four trainings that are related to the best practice of science communication. During the two year period, each partner organization will host one of the trainings in which the organization holds the best experience:

  1. Explorative learning / research-oriented learning lead by KUBUS Technical University of Berlin, Germany
  2. Co-design + co-creation / science communication lead by University of Lille, France
  3. E-tools lead by KUBUS Technical University of Berlin, Germany
  4. Arts + science lead by Institute for Environmental Solutions, Latvia

The first training activity has already taken place in December 2018 at KUBUS Technical University of Berlin, Germany. All the partner institutions were given an overview of various uses of e-tools in relation to the project management and education.

The learning and training activities are a part of the project “Fertilize Innovation in Responsible Education!” (FIRE!, identification number: 2018-1-DE02-KA204-005208), which is financially supported by Erasmus+ grant under the key action: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices, as well as co-funded by project partners.
