Repercussions from the discussion on Citizen Science development in Latvia

To open the doors of science and bring the research closer to the public, on the 30th of September as a part of the European Researchers' Night in Latvia IES organised international Discussion on Citizen Science Development in Latvia.

Among the keynote speakers there were – Tero Mustonen (Snowchange Cooperative, Finland), Lotta Tomasson (Vetenskap & Allmänhet, Sweden), Veljo Runnel (University of Tartu Natural History Museum, Estonia), Ivars Austers (University of Latvia) and experts in environmental protection and education, policy makers and practitioners of Citizen Science activities.
