We are extanding the application for European Space Agency (ESA) Training Course on Radar and Optical Remote Sensing which will take place in Cēsis, from 5th-9th September. The submission of the applications will be open until the 21st of June, 12 pm.
The course will provide an introduction to the basics of theory and applications of radar (Sentinel-1) and optical (Sentinel-2) remote sensing. It will include theoretical lectures as well as hands-on computing exercises exposing participants to radar and optical remote sensing data processing for Earth Observation (EO) applications
We invite researchers, MsC (or close to completion) and PhD students, and professionals from Latvia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia (PECS – Plan for European Cooperating States) who use EO technology within their daily work and would like to improve their knowledge of radar and optical remote sensing. Research scientists and students from all other countries are also welcome to apply and participate to the course subject to space availability.
